Ears In Action

Ears-in-Action — HEAR! HEAR! We are always looking for more EARS!

Each participant in the Ears-In-Action Interest Group listens to a UCSC freshman student reading an assigned essay before it is turned in for a grade. Our purpose is to be a sounding board for the student to catch incomplete thoughts, wayward paragraphs, or mushy conclusions, which by the way, the student mostly edits as he/she reads to you.

The student gets the benefit of our EARS and we get the benefit of a very pleasant diversion with a 21st Century Kid.
