OLLI plant lovers meet every Thursday at 10:00 to noon at the Cabrillo College Horticulture Department, atop a hill overlooking the Monterey Bay. We meet rain or shine since we have the hothouse as our work space. Parking is free and conveniently close, within the Horticulture Center. Park at the garden area through the gates.
You do not need to attend every time to be involved. We start when Cabrillo College starts, about the second week in September. Our focus is propagation of plants for the Spring Mothers Day Plant sale. We also work with the Poinsettias for the Holiday sale. We work under the direction of the staff of Cabrillo Horticulture, and benefit from their knowledge and instruction.
