Digital Photography Interest Group
This interest group is intended as a support group for Institute members interested in digital photography. It is now open to new members.
At indoor meetings members of the group critique members’ photos and help one another with aesthetic and technical issues. We also take field trips to shoot photos. Occasionally we invite professional photographers to meet with our group.
The Digital Photography Interest Group goes on photo shoots at localities of interest to the group, sometimes joining the other groups such as the Art & Architecture IG. During the past few years we have gone to Pinnacles, Point Lobos, Elkhorn Slough, Garrapata, Sunol Regional Wilderness, Wilder Ranch, Año Nuevo, and taken a whale watching cruise and a pontoon boat cruise on Elkhorn Slough.

Meets monthly on the fourth Monday at 1:30 p.m., usually at the home of Cindy Margolin in Aptos.
