Because the original Spanish Conversation group, led by Dolores McCabe, has a waiting list and traffic has become onerous, Aptos members split off into a new group intended for OLLI members residing in south county. Peter Andrews is our group leader and mastered Spanish living in the Canary Islands. We are four members presently and another two or three members would enable easy conversation. No English is spoken so participants must be able to converse in Spanish, albeit with a dictionary handy! This group meets 3pm alternate Wednesdays in members’ homes to discuss a preselected topic.
